I'm running 5.6 [Update] and PHP v 4.3.3.
Everythings works fine BUT:
in my phpinfo is no $_SERVER["HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODING"] ...
Where is the error

I was looking for hours -> here is the result:
I'm running win2000 and i installed outpost [personal firewall]
everything works but not acceptEncoding
You have to run regedit ->
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Agnitum\Outpost Firewall
and then Enablegzipencoding = 1
Thats it :
But normaly most people [like me] install outpost and webtraffic will grow up.
Installing mod_gzip or using ouput_compression in php is in vain in this place
