Title: Accessing ibay from the Internet
Post by: grahowler on September 25, 2003, 04:00:35 PM
Hi

This might be a dumb question, I've read the docs but I must be doing something wrong because I cannot access an ibay. I've done the following....

1. Set up dyn dns, lets say its - my.dyndns.org
2. Created am ibay, lets say its - testBay1
3. Set the group to everyone
4. Set the access to Write = Group, Read = Everyone
5. Set public access to Entire Internet (no pass required)
6. Scripts enabled.

Now as far as I can tell there should be very little else to do except browse to http://my.dyndns.org/testBay1

Except that doesn't work. I've opened up my FTP and I can access ftp://my.dyndns.org, I just can't find the ibay

I am using cable if that is of any importance.

Anyone got some advice?

thx in advance!

The steps look right but there may be a problem with your ibay name. As far as I know the ibay name must be lower case, start with a letter and not have (-_.) in the name.

and that works
