Title: POP3 Mail problems

I've installed SME Server 6 beta3 but can't get it to collect my mail.
I've set the e-mail config. to multi drop, entered my ISP POP3 server name and my username/password. I've set it to collect every 5 mins. This is the same setup I've used with other versions and it's always worked OK. Now nothing happens. It just doesn't get my mail and there are no entries in the maillog. can anybody offer any help.

I had the same issue until I installed all the updates to b3, once I did the updates mail collection worked perfectly again (theres about 10 or so updates, post b3) have you applied any of these yet?

No I haven't installed anu updates.  Thanks for the info. can I get the updates from e-smith.org?

don't forget to do the following to activate the updates also

In order to be sure to activate these updates, install the RPMs using:

rpm -Uhv *rpm

then run these commands:

/sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event reboot

I had the same problem, did the updates like you said and it worked fine.

Got the updates and installed them, email now OK Thanks for the help.
