Title: Still having problems with scripts

Hey,

I've asked these questions before, but I can't get it to work.

I made an ibay called "fcztm-d5" to serve as a homepage. Because I want to use scripts I set "Execution of dynamic content (CGI, PHP, SSI):" enabled

I downloaded a little textcount script and placed it in the directory:
 /home/e-smith/files/ibays/fcztm-d5/cgi-bin

I CHMOD 755 the script and CHMOD 777 the textfile

When I log in as "root" on the server, the script work when I execute them from the command line.

When I try to execute the script from a shtml file in the /home/e-smith/files/ibays/fcztm-d5/html directory with it doesn't work.

I've tried different scripts but they all execute from the command line but not from a shtml page.

What did I do wrong ?
