The update is: Here's a note from the dev list.
e-smith-base-4.0.12-28.noarch.rpm

In addition to the ibay permissions problem, this update removes the
incomplete netlogon support (if you are depending on netlogon support, you
should be able to customise it back in, or wait 24 hours for me to post a
netlogon add-on package), and includes a few changes relating to Windows
network browsing when the SambaDomainMaster option is set to "no". These
last changes are designed to improve co-existence with an NT Domain
Controller.

Download this file, then apply it using:

rpm -Uhv e-smith-base-4.0.12-28.noarch.rpm
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event console-save

then reboot the server. Alternatively, you can avoid the reboot by running
these commands after the RPM update:

/sbin/e-smith/expand-template /etc/smb.conf
/sbin/e-smith/expand-template /etc/dhcpd.conf
/etc/rc.d/init.d/smb restart
/etc/rc.d/init.d/dhcpd restart

You will still need to repair any ibays which have incorrect permissions
From the command line, you can activate the workaround using:

/sbin/e-smith/signal-event ibay-modify ibayname

(for each "ibayname" where you have subfolders with the wrong
permissions).
