Title: Need some Advice

Ey guys,

I am still a schoolboy :(
This is my finalyear, i am studiing for SystemAdministrator.
Our final exam is:

We need 2 create the network for our school.
We need 2 use 1 windows 2k Svr
and 1 linux or novell server!
Ofc we decided 2 choose for SME.
Some stats for the assingment:
We have 800 students and some teachers!
Each student and teacher needs his own HomeDirectory.
And each teacher gets his own profile with his own desktop!
We gonna make the profiles with w2k svr.
We wanna use a Windows 2000 as domain controller and a 2nd 1 also as domain controller and the linux sme server as:

Gateway
Firewall
DHCP svr
WEB Server
and print server!

Each student needs a homedirectory to test things(webpages etc)
We wanna do that with the SME svr!
Ofc this exam contains a lot more, those things i just named are the most important ones!
Anyone has better ideas?
Plz let me know we realy wanna get a good score for the exam!

Good place to start for info is the search these forums.

Take a look at http://contribs.org that is where alot of developers have designed some very good add-ons

Also on contribs site is some very good how-tos

This should give you some start points
