Title: instal of sme6

ive searched and found lots on how to 'upgrade' 'add-on' but
what is the process for a 'new' sme6 install?
do i just install the dev iso or do i need to apply the updates too?
(apology if its a dumb q, but i cant figure it out :)

The latter. Install the iso, and then download and apply the update rpms.

thanks Mike!

just one other Q (and I'll never have to ask it again  )....

do i
A. put in the 6.0b1-6.0b2 set, followed by the 6.0b2-6.0b3 set or
B. just put in 6.0b3 set (which have a later date): from looking I think B
      but want to make sure before i jump in.

B - once you've downloaded the B3 ISO, you just need to install the B3 updates.

All subsequent update sets ("Update 3", "Update 5", etc.) will contain all previous sets, so you won't need to apply them one at a time.  If Update 754 is the latest one, it'll be all you need to get up to date as far as Mitel is concerned.
