I have been looking for the past week how to configure reporting for sarg. I have it installed but do not know how to set it up. Can someone help me out?
Thanks

Hi Bruce,
I have sarg installed and I don't remember having to set up anything. I just go to server-manager and there is a link called SARG reports under administration. There you can view the web activity by daily, weekly or monthly reports.
Hope this helps,

The reports were generated this morning.
I am confused on the time field of the report. One of my user reports shows 00:17:43. my question is, does this indicate time online or is it just a indication time for request packets? I this report in hours:Minutes:Seconds.

Hi Bruce,
I am no expert, but I aways beleived this was the total amount of time spent online by the IP address and is in hrs.mins.secs. You can see what sites were visited in the sites and users link at the top of the main report (after you have clicked on the chosen date link).

I have checked the log files for usage time. How is the time reported? I was online for two straight hours and my total time for the day is only 38 minutes. Does anyone know of a way to track browser time.
Thanks.
