Hello, people!
Has anyone of you tried to install SME server v. 5.6 on RedHat 9? What are the possible problems? Can I be sure, that it won't downgrade any of packages to RedHat 7.3 version? And what are the kernel compatibility issues (v 5.6 as I know is for 2.4.18-5 kernel but RedHat 9 may come with a newer one). Or should I better install the dev 6 version? And what is the best way to do at all if I want to upgrade my system (which is now RedHat 7.3 with SME server 5.1) to Redhat 9 with a suitable SME server.
Thanks in advance,
Arthur

You'll find many, mostly library incompatibilities.

IMO, yes. (6.0beta3, that is, since 6 hasn't been released. Don't forget to apply the updates).
