Title: A Lonely CD-Rom Drive
Post by: Luke Drumm on August 17, 2000, 04:19:08 AM
Hi,

Are there any Australian E-Smith users who would be willing to burn me a copy of the latest version 4 build?

Unlike the 3+ and early 4 beta releases, I don't seem to be having any luck getting a decent 'Net connection, a viable E-Smith download and a CD-Burner all together in the one spot (a working happily together).

I'm more than willing to cover the cost of materials, transport and a reasonable amount of time (eg. No free trips to small Pacific islands will be covered )

Regards,
Luke

G'day Luke,

I just downloaded it the other day (not a small feat considering the cost of ISP connectivity in the bush!)

I've got a burner and will be quite happy to burn you a copy.

Cheers,

Doc
