I'm running SME Server 6 and using Outlook Express to check e-mail from my domain and when I try to send an outgoing e-mail I get the following error:
Server Response: '553 Sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79
Does anyone know what this means or how I can go about fixing it?
Thanks

from what i can see you are using pop for your email
Instead of putting your email server as mail.XXXXXXX.com
try putting the ip address of your server as the incomming and
outgoing mail. I find this works for me every time.

Kick ;)
For some reason my SME Servers does not seem to understand that my workstation is on the same local network.
When using the IP address instead of mail.domain-name.tld nothing goes wrong. Why is this?
