Hi,
SquidGuard installed very smoothly. However, I still can't configure the time restrictions in the "/usr/local/squidGuard/squidGuard.conf" file.
I have created the directory:
"/etc/e-smith/templates-custom/usr/local/squidGuard/squidGuard.conf"
and then copied all the files that were located in the "templates" directory into the new one. Now, what is the next step to add the following time restrictions to my .conf file:
time leisure-time {
weekly * 00:00-08:00 17:00-24:00 # night and evening
}
Please advise.
Thanks a lot
Samer

you really need to edit the /etc/squid/squid.conf (although in the right template) and have look at http://squid.visolve.com/squid24s1/access_controls.htm this will work as we use time restrictions here.
Hope this helps
