Title: 5.5 to 6 ?

hello can 5.5 be upgraded to 6 or would it be better to do a backup to desktop of 5.5  then a  fresh install of 6 apply any updates then restore from desktop ??

Hello,
It's most likely to restart from frech install.

I've tried the backup and restore procedure from 5.6 to 6.0, and the only thinks that didn't work was the primary directory that more from /home/e-smith/files/primary to /home/e-smith/files/ibays/Primary
Except this problem it have to work for all other data or templates.

hi  i have a forum running on the 5.5 server do you think if i installed a fresh copy of 6  and then restored my desktop  that the forum would be restored completely  and working ?
