Title: win98 client can't connect to domain
Post by: frakke on November 24, 2003, 11:12:07 PM
I've just installed latest (unsupported) version of SME and connected a win2000 client to the domain: no problem. When I try to do the same with a win98 client I can't connect to the domain. I've configured the SME as server-only. When I ping the server or browse via search computer I can see the server, but connecting via the logon doesn't seem to work...Anyone a clue??? thanks!

Are you using the SME as a domain controller (or a different machine?) or are all your computers just in a workgroup?
