Title: ASSP - nightly.sh missing?
Post by: Jason Arthurs on November 25, 2003, 03:55:43 AM
I've recently installed ASSP on my SME 5.6 box and it's doing a great job dispatching all the spam to spam-hell. However the setup details I have suggest adding nightly.sh to the crontab entry to get it to update the spam database and the dns blacklists. I duly added this to crontab and was puzzled to find it wasn't updating itself.

I've been unable to find nightly.sh, can anyone mail me what this is supposed to contain?

Regards,
Jason.

If you have updated the above version the Cron job seems to run nightly
and email you with this type of output:

/etc/cron.daily/assp-update:

Rebuilding the SPAM database.  Please be patient as this may take up to 5 minutes.

Update complete.  View /usr/local/assp/assp-update.log for details.

Restarting ASSP.
Stopping assp:[   OK   ]
Starting assp:[   OK   ]
