Title: Hosting multiple SME server Domains using one Dynamic IP add
Post by: John Dawkins on November 26, 2003, 04:50:37 PM
Hi,

I am looking at the prospect of hosting an entirely different Domain using another SME server on my existing network. Is there anyone out there that knows how to do this. I do not wish to host multiple domains on one server (i know how to get that done). I need to run seperate servers for various reasons. I would really appreciate some help on this one if it's possible.

Thanks

Make your second domain a virtual domain on your gateway SME box then in server-manager go to the 'Hostnames and addresses' panel and direct all the service ports to the SME box where your second domain is located.

For the web servers you could point all the outside DNS to your primary server and then use "proxypass" conrib to redirect website to be served from a different server.
