HI All

A couple of week ago I upgraded from SME Server V6beta 2 to V6beta3. The day after I did this I got repeated messages from ddclient that it could not connect to checkip.dyndns.org:80 in order to check my ip address, further investigation found that the server could not connect to any address on the web  ending in .org. I was unable to reach e-smith,org but could get to e-smith.com, yet if I used the actual ip address  for e-smith.org it worked fine.  After rebooting the server everything worked fine until the next day when it started all over again.  I have been running V6 for several months with no problems before applying the update and even after the update everything works fine with the exception of not being able to get to any site on the net ending in org.

I have reported this to bugs but it has been two weeks since then and having to reboot the server every day is a pain.

Can anyone suggest anything I can try to fix this?

You also must apply the updates for v6.0beta3 (ie fixes since beta 3 was released). They are in the updates folder on mirror sites. Check the read me for instructions how to update correctly
That may fix your problem

I ran the updates last Sunday using Greg Zartman's perl script they all installed with no errors but it did not fix my problem.

Any other suggestions?
