Oh dear.
Some fool unplugged my SME 6.0 (All updates) box while I was in the Admin Mailbox via LDAP via Outlook Express.
I fired the server back up and am able to log into all other mailboxes except the admin one... I Checked the LDAP Log files and I found this:
2003-11-27 10:37:40.072737500 imap(admin): Error: Corrupted index data file /home/e-smith/Maildir/;INBOX/.imap.index.data: Given data size larger than file size (38992 + 1869832044 > 48088) for record 29
2003-11-27 10:37:40.072896500 imap(admin): Error: Corrupted index data file /home/e-smith/Maildir/;INBOX/.imap.index.data: Missing location field for record 29
2003-11-27 10:37:40.073083500 imap(admin): Error: Corrupted index data file /home/e-smith/Maildir/;INBOX/.imap.index.data: Given data size larger than file size (38992 + 1869832044 > 48088) for record 29
2003-11-27 10:37:40.073148500 imap(admin): Panic: block_alloc(): Out of memory
The server has 512Meg of Memory and 40Gig RAID1, so I doubt it really is out of memory
Can anyone tell me how to fix this Please? You will save my life!
Cheers.
Nick

I'm sorry I'm not a Linux Guru by any stretch of the imagination.
I don't understand what I'm supposed to do.... :(

This message suggests just deleting (perhaps renaming would be better) the offending index file!
