Sorry if this is a newbie question...
I can only seem to be able to map a drive letter to the parent ibay folder and nothing underneath it. Is this by design, or am i missing something?
I really need specific drive mappings for the application i am running.
Thanks for any info

I think that's the bug fixed by the update of the e-smith-base rpm.

No, you are correct, it is by design - that's how Windows networking works - you can only map to "shares", not arbitrary directories within shares.
Robert is also right, you should apply the update - there is a permissions problem in subdirecetories otherwise.

This is my problem...
For example I might need a specific drive mapping/path of f:\folder, with e-smith all i can do is F:\files\folder etc.
Is there some way to create folders on the same level as the cgi-bin, files and html directories?

I see this as problem with Win9X os's. On My Win2K machine I can map a drive to \e-smith\i-bay\files, but on my Win98 Machine I can only map to \e-smith\i-bay.
What is the base-rpm update? I have noticed a weird bug that if a user copies a directory with multiple sub directories that other users cannot access them until a "Modify" that changes no settings is applied to the i-bay. I am running e-smith 4.0 final, so has there been updates and is there a web page that currently lists know bugs and fixes?

Try the "bugs" link on www.e-smith.org. There you will find a workaround (a modify which changes no settings, you'll be surprised to hear!!) and an update.
