Dear friends,
Please help me with this urgent matter. I upgraded from 5.6 to 6b3. Everything went alright except for Masq, which refuses to start stating the following msg on startup:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/masq: line 430: syntax error near unexpected token .*//p')'
/etc/rc.d/init.d/masq: line 430: sed -n '3s/ .*//p')'
I'm not sure what could be the problem and how to fix it. It also seems that the mail server is not working (pop is working, but not the imap).
Please help me with this urgent matter.
Thanks a lot.

I don't know if this will help you, but I figure getting some response would be better than none at all!!!!
Issues that I've had updating from older versions to 6.0b3 are:
1. Old contribs - Uninstall/remove files from /etc/e-smith/templates-custom
2. File rights - Key files have not had the correct user/group.
"ls -l" would show a number instead of a user or group name.
Correcting them with chown fixed this.
3. Services being turned off because records in the configuration db file aren't there. I seem to recall smb, dns (dnscache or tinydns), and smtpfront-qmail
