Has anyone found a solution to this problem. I have read the thread on the bug reporting forum and tried the suggestions there, but I am still having the same problem Help!

Was this an upgrade or a new install? If upgrade then the horde password has been changed. 6.0 does this. You should be able to go to
edit /home/httpd/html/horde/confiig/horde.php and change the password from whatever it is back to horde.
If it's a new instal, more details will be needed. I have yet not to have webmail work after doing a fresh install of 6.0.

Actually, I had to do a clean install because I was also deploying a mirror drive. The reboot solved the problem (at least for the short term), but there should be an file I can edit to change the default value for any form.

I have a fresh install of SME 6 final and webmail is working fine from both the lan and the internet.

Hi,
I just performed a new install of SME 6.0 and the webmail doesn't work. After trying to login I get the message:
DB Error: connect failed
[line 108 of /home/httpd/html/horde/lib/Prefs/sql.php]

Filip,
Did you do a fresh install, then a restore, or just a fresh install. Webmail works everytime a do a new instal on my test box with 6.0. The problem may be with your horde password. I can duplicate this error message if I change my horde password. Before 6.0 the default horde password used to be horde. So if you did a new install, then a restore, chances are you need to go to /home/httpd/html/horde/config and change the password to horde. If that works, then you should be able to do
/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop horde DbPassword horde, then
/sbin/e-smith/expand-template /home/httpd/html/horde/config/horde.php.
If the above doesn't work, then this is probably the thread you need to follow:

Good Luck,
