Title: user access to vacation responder
Post by: DATAC on December 31, 2003, 04:09:16 PM
I have just installed SMW 6.0, I see that the vacation responder is included with this release.

Is there a way for users to access the vacation responder?  I have given the global user access to the vacation responder, in "User Access Panel", but users can not log onto the e-smith manager.

Thanks in Advance -

On my box the link is   https://esmith.domain.com/user-manager/    which presents a typical login screen requesting username and password. This works fine here but I installed the userpanel contrib. I'm not sure what it is for the stock 6.0 install.

There's no vacation responder in SME 6.0. What is SMW 6.0?

I think the discussion is about user-panel contrib from dungog.net.

Our internal network is 192.168.1.1.

I have users use the line http://192.168.1.1/user-manager

From here they get the login screen.  I have given the global user access to change passwords, change email forwarding, and access the vacation response messages.

Hope this is helpful.

What is the consensus then amongst users.
Does the user-panel contrib from dungog.net  work OK with v6.0 final

Thanks & Regards
