I have a use where web content is hosted for mydomain.com on esmith, but mail for mydomain.com is handled on another system. If I try to send email to user@mydomain.com using esmith SMTP server on which the web content is located,(virutal domain) I get complaint from esmith "Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 Sorry, that is an invalid e-mail address', Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79"
How I tell Esmith it is not the mail server it is only the webserver?
Thanks everyone

Make your domain name www.mydomain.com, not mydomain.com.

So virtual domain is named www.mydomain.com rather than mydomain.com? I think that is what you meant.
