Title: Invalid UID / UID FETCH completed

After upgrading from 5.12 to 5.5u6 some users can't use their IMAP accounts anymore in outlook or Outlook Express. Outlook 2000 complains about incoorrect uid and Outlook express returns error 0x800CCCDC 'UID FETCH completed' and will not retrieve the messages.

Is there a way to re-order the mails in the users mail directory in a way that the mailclients act if the mail is polled for the very first time?

Have you tried moving all the e-mails from the cur to new folders? This needs to be done for each mail folder per user.
