Title: proxy keeps quitting

Hello anyone,

I am having troubles with the proxy quitting even after rebooting, it seems to be not letting through traffic. Logs indicate that the squid service is working but does not let any of the traffic through. Could it be the DNS that is causing the problem?

Any help or suggestions would sure help.

I did a port scan on this box and it seems I have no port 53 DNS. This box was originally a E-smith 4.0 box that has been upgraded to Version 6.  I noticed that they use TinyDNS now. Could that be the issue.
