Make sure you have used the Smart Start Software that came with your Compaq to configure the Disks as raid 1 before you start. I should then only show up as 1 drive to your Linux install.

Oh lord...

The compaq array drivers and linux.   Here is a story of a week of my life wasted.

Do a search on the web, there is lot's of general infoon the compaq cards and linux.  It has more to do with linux and peer PCI channels than with e-smith itself.

I can't find my URL's for you now as I am dead tired and still need to finish off my second last assingment for uni ever.

Feel free to email me and I can forward you the URL's later.  I got RH 6.2 working on a proliant 1500.  There is an issue with PCI channels and RH 6.1 which was corrrected in 6.2.

Cheers,
RIchard.
