Title: Port Redirecting/Exchange/PDC/BDC
Post by: Geoff Bennion on September 07, 2000, 06:25:24 PM
I've just installed E-Server V4, and I love it.
Very nice, install was a bit funny (asking for driver disk) but went
smoothly after that, and works!

Just a couple of things.

1    We already have an Exchange Email Server - not my choice ( I blame the
management - I think they have shares in Microsoft )
So what I would like to do is for all connections coming into the e-smith on
port 25 to be re-directed into the exchange server.
There is properly an easy way to do this, but I can't find it.

If this isn't possible, any way of capturing from a multi-drop, and
distributing to the exchange server ?

2    Anyway of using the e-smith server for domain logon control ?
3    What about BDC with Replication from NT

Any help, very much appreciated.

to many questions in one message, I can only answer the first one.

in the e-smith-manager you can delegate mail to a different server. that will forward all messages on to your exchange server.
