Is there any way of installing E-Smith onto a different FS ?
(By altering the Install.cfg I have got the install program to present me with the FDISK type program, so that I can define the partitions exactly how I want them)
What I would like to be able to do is install E-Smith directly onto a MS-Dos partition (Not a loop Ext2-file system). I can remeber Slackware Linux being able to do this, is there any way that E-Smith can do the same ?

I'm playing with ReiserFS on a machine.
It's not that serious, but I'd like to hear what others have done.
Are there any plans for a JFS in the future?

e-smith is designed to be installed on a machine dedicated to being an e-smith server and gateway, and uses an ext2 fs. It does not support being installed on a fat partition.

Do you mean that you have e-smith running on reiserfs?
