Title: VPN
Post by: Zachary W. on September 21, 2000, 10:10:58 PM
Hello

I was wondering if there was a way to setup a VPN with E-Smith.
My boss has a computer at home and he wants access to all his files at the office and be able to print off any printer at the office from home I know there are security problems with this but it’s only for a week or so. Any help that you can offer will be most welcome

Thanks

Zach

I'm sorry, but this is not currently supported. See:

I'm currently working on a solution for this.

I have been running e-Smith 3.0 for quite a while and had done a package for vpn, but due to some problems with 3.0 the package has never been fully completed.

Now version 4.0 offer better support for the problems I had encountered and hope to be able to complete the package in the next few days/week.

As soon as I have something usable I'll let people know.
