Title: multiple pop ISPs
Post by: Horst Herb on October 07, 2000, 10:27:38 PM
I have multiple pop accounts with several ISPs. I want e-smith to poll all of them at regular intervals and download these mails to serve them then for our intranet. What would the smartest way to do this be?

IMO the smartest way to do this is to set up a personal fetchmail configuration and cron job for your user account on the e-smith server. The e-smith server's fetchmail configuration is designed only to collect a whole domain's email from a single multi-drop mailbox.

Eventually I would like to include a web interface to allow each user to set up one or more personal fetchmail session for themselves, but that's not going to happen soon.
