Title: SSH to a remote host trough e-smith
Post by: Ricardo Arguello on October 11, 2000, 12:57:34 AM
Hello,

I need to access a host using SSH.
I´m using e-smith as my firewall.

I´m using Windows NT, and I have an SSH client.
The SSH client can´t acces the remote host, I think because the firewall is blocking it.

What do I ned to configure in order to allow SSh traffic to go trough e-smith? SSH uses port 22.

Thanks in advance.

SSH (TCP on port 22) passes transparently  through the e-smith gateway from the local network to hosts on the Internet. I use it all the time.
