Title: /etc/startmail
Post by: Scott Smith on October 12, 2000, 01:18:55 AM
I have a system (4.0) connected into a network that has a cablemodem connection to the internet. The cablemodem is connected to a 3Com router, so the e-smith system is in server only/dedicated mode. I'm getting an email message generated from cron every 5 minutes when it kicks off /etc/startmail, which is what launches fetchmail. Anyone else having this problem?

Nevermind. The ISP changed the password on the POP3 login.

It's been reported before, on the developers mailing list. What does the email message say?

What happens when you run /etc/startmail from the command line?
