Firstly : E-Smith Rules
Second : The default telephone number for dial-up is set to 999-9999, here in the UK, any number of nines (more than three) phones the Emergency Services, who would be extremely anoyed, upset and pos. charging towards people who's modem squeals at them down the telephone line. Yes I know that you should change the tel no. on first boot, but what if..... (Maybe disabling the modem dialout if the default value hasn't changed would be nice).

Thanks for highlighting this. I'll make sure that the default number is changed to something benign in future releases.

Or, using a string such as "none" -- although that might be interesting for modems that know how to dial letters! none = 6663, wonder what that might do?!
