Post by: Rudy on November 02, 2000, 06:28:06 PM
I'm trying to install php and mysql on e-smith 4.0.

To install php and mysql, where do I start? and what should I do?
If you explain it step by step, It will be helpful to me.

Thanks in advance.

From www.e-smith.org, link to "contributed RPMs".  Here's what you'll need:

php-4.0.3pl1
php-mysql-4.0.3pl1
e-smith-php4-0.2
MySQL
MySQL-client(s)
MySQL-shared
e-smith-mysql

Just install all these RPMs, and you should be good to go.

All of Dan's RPMs are available on www.e-smith.org under the "Contributed RPMs" link.

Dan's webmail doco will also be on www.e-smith.org in the very near future.
