Title: squid is hanging on shutdown

Hi,
Could someone please help me? everytime I reboot or shut down the server, squid hangs the computer. I eventually have to hit the reset button. It is becoming a pain.

Have you wait enough time?

squid service in my server takes a time to stop, before shutting down.
Is correctly pointed in the proxy configuration of your client machine's browsers?
is the service iddle?
