Background
========
Two days ago I got e-smith. Great product (after installing M$ 3.51 and 4.0 for years). I am new to Linux but I know I need PHP4 installed.
Problem
======
1. What rmp do I use to install PHP4.0 on a clean install. Just connected to the network.
2. How the hell do you install a rmp. Where can I find info on this.
3. I want to use the oMail-admin project at http://omail.omnis.ch/ to manage email accounts.
Thanks for any help you can provide

From www.e-smith.org, link to "contributed RPMs". Here's what you'll need:
php-4.0.3pl1
php-mysql-4.0.3pl1
e-smith-php4-0.2
MySQL
MySQL-client(s)
MySQL-shared
e-smith-mysql
Just install all these RPMs, and you should be good to go.

The e-smith-manager is already used to manage email accounts. The two systems are not compatible.
If there are features of omail which you like, but miss from the e-smith manager, then please post on the WIsh List bulletin board, and we can add them to the long and growing list :-).
