How can i get a perl file at updates my DDNS to run when my ppp0 connection is up ?

Grab the newest popt, initscripts and e-smith-base RPMs from my contrib directories at ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/contrib/charlieb/RPMS/.

That is assuming that you use one of the DDNS providers that e-smith supports. If it is some other DDNS provider, you are more likely to get someone to help you if you tell people which provider it is.
