Dear all,
I am not sure what I have done thus the email.
Upgrade server to 4.0.1
Used all patches *.noarch specified on portal etc.
Added modules
isp - dail / disconnect - e-smith-isp-0_1-5_noarch.rpm
admin for the kiddlets - e-smith-admin-4_0_1-3_noarch.rpm
control alt del - e-smith-ctrlaltdel-0.1-3.noarch.rpm
dns - e-smith-dnsservers-0.1-2.noarch.rpm
alias - e-smith-aliases-0.3-1.noarch.rpm
fullname - e-smith-fullname-alias-0.3-3.noarch.rpm
Upon reboot etc receive the following error -
unable to ..../etc/rc.d/rc7.d/S55xntpd file permission.
Result and problem - lose of FTP both internal and to the outside world.
" Connection Closed by Server "
Has anyone got any ideas - please.
For those in US - Happy Thanks giving.
Regards
Marc

The 4.0.1 update announcement went to the developer mailing list
for final testing. It should not have been placed on Tim's site at
this stage.

That is a bug, found by someone on the developer list. I have just fixed
it and will be re-releasing the update.

The xntp daemon is not related to this - it just provides time services.
