Topic: Hylafax How To config send/receive fax

I've installed the hylafax following this procedure http://www.sulman.org/sme/hylafax.html

I want to use hylafax to send/receive fax, for this I must start faxgetty. My modem is /dev/ttyS1

I've try to start faxgetty in the inittab :

pico /etc/e-smith/templates/etc/inittab/90faxgetty
# Launch Faxgetty in run Level 2,3,7 to receive fax
t2:237:respawn:/usr/sbin/faxgetty ttyS1

I launch this to recreate the inittab files
/sbin/e-smith/expand-template /etc/inittab

Ok this run

I reboot the server, and I receive one error message.
INIT: id "t2" respawning to fast : disabled for 5 minutes.

I'm a newbie in linux somebody can help me !

Instead of reboot you could use "telinit q".
See /var/log/messages for troubleshooting.
Do you see lines like this ?
