Specific IP as a local network
« on: May 02, 2002, 06:54:18 AM »
I have an SME server hosting several domains - colo'd in downtown Phoenix.
I have an SME server at home, too.

Just for kicks I added the specific IP of the server downtown.
This rendered me unable to:
SSH
ftp
SSL

to my server.

Can someone please explain why?

Thank you.

It seems that what I did somehow affected Awstats - I get this message hourly:

Could not open /var/log/httpd/awstats/

ever since around 4pm PST

Anyone?

Tried this:

[root@xend /root]# /bin/nice /sbin/e-smith/awstats-pp -s -n
Could not open /var/log/httpd/awstats/www.xend.net

Anyone know where this is coming from or why it started happening?
It worked fine yesterday (April 30)
