Topic: smtpfwdd incomplete spool files

Hi,

After experiencing problems updating dydndns, and eventually resetting to "no dynamic DNS service" I've started receiving several messages in my maillog similar to:

smtpfwdd[2940]: Spool file smtpd8Hadia has been incomple
te since Mon Aug 26 17:12:31 2002 . Please investigate.

Of course there may be absolutely no relationship between the problems, but it did start happening around the same time.

Has anyone ever come across this before? If so what is the best way to deal with these incomplete spool files (stop smtpfwdd, delete spool files and restart?). Obviously I don't want to lose mail if I can avoid it, but as the files are now over 24 hours old it wouldn't be a great loss.

Forgot to mention, it's SME 5.1.2 and we don't use RAV.
