Mysql htaccess apache module
« on: October 25, 2002, 03:47:38 PM »
I have successfully modified http.conf to allow .htaccess files to protect primary i-bay folders. The other I-bays do not require this as they have security built in.

Questions - relating to the primary i-bay only:

1. Is it possible with E-Smith 5.5 to install the mod_auth_mysql apache module so that users can be authenticated against a mysql database?
2. If so how do I install the module?
3. Where are existing E-smith groups and users stored. Would there be duplication / conflict after installing the mysql apache module?

Please help.
