I would really like to see the ability to cluster groups of e-smith servers together to perform a common task. I would like to be able to turn on or off the standard functions from the installation or console (the functions I refer to are file sharing, database, web access and e-mail).
So I could have a cluster (2 or more) to provide fileserver capabilities, with the ability to hold the individual machines on different sites and sync data at pre determined times.
I could have a cluster to provide database access allowing for larger and faster databases.
Control of the cluser should be possible through the web interface with the ability to add / remove machines and control the functions on those machines.(eg if the web interface were disabled on all but one of the machines in a cluster).
