Commisserations on finding my fellow countryman Mark Bosnich
in such fine form in the recent Cup. I'm not sure that the better team
won!!

Nice to see you having success in other fields than just on the field..
Thanks for your kind words.

Your English is so much better than my Portuguese!!
We recommend that you build development packages for the
e-smith server using a standard RedHat or compatible installation
on a non-server machine. If you really wish to use a server for
development, then you can install packages from a RedHat 6.0
distribution, but exactly which packages will depend on what
developments you have in mind. You certainly should read the
design documentation at
http://www.e-smith.org/ to help your
development work. You should also subscribe to the developer
mailing list and seek advice there - I'm sure there are others on that
list who will be interested in what you are doing.
Best wishes in your endeavors, and thanks for getting in touch with us.
