Topic: Understanding and Controlling Log Files?

Hello everyone. I made a post before about how to delete a log file and was told to delete the "Rotating" one's with the date.

Well after I did this manually in the console (took a long time)I to a "LS" and it looks ok until I log into the Server-Manager and pull up yje log file panel and there's all these files with .U  Extention??

When I browse to like the "secure" or "dhcpd" directory I can see those .U files but no date.

What can I clean up? There's also "xferlog.4.gz" etc...These are zipped files.

And any info on how to properly understand some of those files will help
