Topic: Downgrading 6.5rc1 to 6.0.1

Folks -

I have 6.5rc1 loaded on my Compaq Proliant 1600 server. Ever since I tried this version, MySQL has had an intermitent problem connecting. Webmail will sometimes throw up that line 108 problem, and other apps will occasionally complain about no connection to the DB. This never happened with 6.0.1.

Is there a way to go back without wiping the drives clean first?
