i tried installing Open-Xchange on a fresh SME7pre4 using the Open-Xchange rpms from
http://smeserver.free.fr/ox/ox7/My final problem: EMail in OX does not work. When i click on the Email Icon within the OX Interface, a new empty browser window pops up and that's it (tested with Firefox and IE).
The URL seems to be ok if i compare it to a live demo on the OX site.
Login, Contacts, Calender etc. works. Even getting LDAP Access via Thunderbird works.
Email via SME7 in generell works ok. (test via built in horde)
Unfortunately, i do not see anything wrong in the log-files, or i am not sure where to look.
Also, i was unable to connect via Outlook2003 using OX as an Exchange-Server. But this might be a different story.
Any advice?

I did the installation in three steps:
1.) install the openldap rpms.
openldap installation issue:
used rpm -i --force to install the ldap packages
2.) install all other packages except sme7-* packages.
3.) install sme7-* packages.
after that, had to run initall_ox a couple of times (seemed to me once for every existing user) to get all users done.
also, had to start open-xchange manually (/etc/init.d/open-xchange start), because the installer said: "open-xchange is not a valid service"
