Topic: new server - how do I move everything from old server

I am replaceing a server - used for web sites and email with a new machine that will be loaded with 7.0

The amount of data on the old machine is around 12 gigs so the backup to desktop doesn't work.

I can resetup the 50 users and 20 ibays with thier web sites and mysql databases manually - but I need to keep the passwords for the users - and I don't have record of what the passwords are - and don't particularily want to know.

What is the best way to move the users with thier passwords to the new machine.  Is it possibly to copy some files and the run part of the signal-event post-upgrade to get the users with thier passwords from those files?

Thanks - I found that later.  I modified the first example and reposted with the second example.  It worked ok - a few paths needed fixing and it looks like brianr fixed those.
