Could we make some pause and discuss here from this problem i point out on my box for large update as the last one 7.0 RC2.
As previously said, i encounter ProxyError only on large update (lot of packages to update)
I've made a small try on the 7.0RC2 upgrade with updating only 2 or 3 packages (i've a try to upgrade only the 3 clamav packages) from all proposed and don't have proxy error.
And on a secong upgrade all the others packages at one time, and i get the proxy error. So i watch with 'tail -f /var/log/messages' and 'pstree' the end of httpd yum update process and manually done the 2 last steps : 'signal-event post-upgrade' and 'signal-event reboot' to finish it.
Is tha a right way to finish when proxy error is encountered ?
It seems to me that the length of the upgrade process is in cause for this. Isn't it ?
I would right unserstanding the proxy error origin :
Is the proxy error declared from the browser we use because nothing appends during this process ? a kind of time-out raised by the browser ?
So could be a workaround to "send" something to the browser during the upgrade process, no ?
.YO.
PS/ I've made some searches on bugzilla on this problem but lost me on duplicate and resolved branches related to this problem.
