ldap help

hi.

can someone point me to a good place (book, website, whatever) that's a good reference/starting point for LDAP?

I running Mitel5.1.2 and have 2 Mandrake boxes and 1 win2k box.

I'm trying to experiment with having the users stored on the server instead of having to enter them all into the linux clients individually. not a big deal at home, but for a proof of concept type thing for work. that and i just want to learn something.

i've been looking around on-line, and am just thouroughly confused.
